Kira M's Question
in more places than just this reading, it has been said that time and space are connected. but, are time and place connected as well?

I think time and place are also connected. If you look at history you can see how much different places have changed over time. In the 1920's NYC was totally different than it is now. Place is inlfluenced by people and people change over time. This is where I believe the connected is.
Stephanie's Question:
When boundaries are considered, the author mentions they are "fixed in place". Are boundaries fixed in place? Which concludes that boundaries are concrete, but can't they be abstract too?
I believe boundries are fixed in place. I think what we need to look at is who makes the boundries and where they are in certain places. For example, in New Brunswick the Rutgers police make boundries and rules for students and outside of that is the New Brunswick police who controls boundries for New Brunswick and so forth. I also believe our friends and loved ones set emotional boundries and our parents fixed boundries as we grew up. In that sense of emotional boudries that friends and family create I believe it is more abstract than concrete boundries police give.
Why are Heterotopias so important (Daniel W. Question)?

I think heterotopias a important because it is a physical representation of an aproximation of someone's utopia. This means it has a lot of emotional significance and at the same time is a physical representation
