The things I carry with me

I have two maps. I woke up a little extra early to get ready for the first day of this class. I wasn't sure where it was located so I gave myself extra time. I walked around for almost an hour and a half looking for this class. On the way I talked to a dozen people and no one knew where this class was. I went in the library and an older man that worked there gave me an extra map because my map was ripping. So, that's how I got two maps. Finally, I found the classroom and was really late. When I got out of class and told my boyfriend how late I was he couldn't believe it because I had left so early. It was the most stressful part of my day. I'm never good at directions; I get lost every time I drive. Even when I going somewhere that I know how to get to; I still get lost. Last week I was driving to Flemington which is where my parents live. I lived there for 8 years and still got lost getting from New Brunswick to Flemington. Sometimes I borrow my dad's gps and I love it. It takes a ton of stress away. When I don't have it, it's a complete nightmare. I went to visit friends in PA. I got lost and had no service so I had to stop at a bar and use their phone. I got directions and then got lost again and just drove until I got service and made my friend come meet me. I don't even know how to practice how to follow directions and get places without getting lost.
